Being an Eco-Lighthouse certified company requires environmental performance in waste management, a good working environment, energy-reducing measures and environmental focus in procurement and transportation. Lians view the Eco-Lighthouse as an important community engagement. Environmental beacons are a recognized and effective tool for certification and environmental management, helping businesses succeed in their green transition. Through the certification, we get concrete tools to work purposefully on improving our environmental performance. The certifications also provide us with good prerequisites to help achieve several of the UN's sustainability goals.
WHAT ARE ECO-LIGHTHOUSE?
Eco-Lighthouse is a national certification scheme for businesses that will document their environmental efforts and demonstrate social responsibility. Eco-Lighthouse certification is recognized by the authorities in public procurement and approved as environmental documentation in tender competitions. The companies meet requirements and implement measures for a more environmentally friendly operation and a better working environment. The aim is to reduce the environmental impact by systematizing and streamlining environmental considerations in the company. The Eco-Lighthouse scheme is operated by the Eco-Lighthouse Foundation.
